Anti-Ragging / Disciplinary Committee

The institution strictly follows the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the Anti-Ragging Act, 2009. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the campus. Oxford Business College is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and disciplined academic environment for all students.

The Anti-Ragging Committee ensures that all students, especially newly admitted ones, are protected from any form of ragging, harassment, or misconduct. The institution promotes a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and harmony among students.

Objectives

  • Prevent ragging in all forms within the campus
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for students
  • Create awareness about anti-ragging rules and regulations
  • Promote discipline and respectful behavior

Prohibited Activities

  • Physical or mental harassment
  • Use of abusive language or threats
  • Forcing students into uncomfortable situations
  • Any act causing fear, shame, or embarrassment

Committee Responsibilities

  • Monitor campus activities regularly
  • Take immediate action on complaints
  • Conduct awareness programs and campaigns
  • Ensure strict disciplinary action against offenders

Zero Tolerance Policy

The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any student found involved in ragging activities will face strict disciplinary action as per UGC norms, including suspension or expulsion from the institution.

Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging without fear. All complaints will be handled with strict confidentiality and prompt action will be taken to ensure justice.
